One of our friends & favorite Alt Models, Dani Vi recently came down to Florida to shoot for the September cover of The Horse magazine with us & we took advantage of our time together by filling the rest of it with MORE SHOOTS! We shot in the studio, the jungle, & even in the water! Here's a look at what we created in 24 hours! (Check back in the fall for the images shot for The Horse)
It's 99°F with 90% humidity out & alt model Dani Vi is lost in the Jungle!...To cool off or drink the water?, THAT is the question!
Want to shoot something sexy?
Katie, who is one of our talented hair & makeup artists, thought it would be fun to do a vintage styled photoshoot with us of her own & we couldn't have agreed more! We did 3 different looks to show some different sides of her fun personality!
Katie brought her kitty, Jammie in for one look...
Then we decided to show off her love for all things beauty related. Our studio's makeup area was the perfect setting for this...
& last, we took a little walk outside & captured a couple great lifestyle shots...
Are you ready to be made over into a vintage pinup babe?
This gorgeous mama-to-be came to us looking to do a maternity session with a retro pinup twist. Her hubby is in the air force stationed out of states while she is here waiting for baby to arrive and she wanted to send him some fun, cheeky, pinup photos that showed off that bump. With everyone doing the stereotypical maternity photos in flowy dresses outside, we were so excited to have a client that thought outside the box & wanted to stand out! We had such a blast creating these shots & there were lots of laughs to be had! Take a look at some of the shots we captured for them to remember this very special time...

Is there a baby on the way? Let's get you some fun maternity photos!
When this family of 5 decided to vacation on Anna Maria Island they contacted us to capture some fun memories that they could cherish forever. We met up with them at their vacation rental & took a short walk down the street to the beautiful beach access where we focused on not only capturing some wonderful family portraits, but also some adorable candid shots of themselves enjoying their time together as a family.
Ready for some timeless family portraits?
On March 24th 2018 we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jessica & Corbin!
The two decided on doing "first look" photos before the ceremony. The entire wedding party gathered on the historic Bradenton Beach Pier & watched as Corbin saw his gorgeous bride for the 1st time on their big day!
Since the gang was all there we then did some fun wedding party & couples shots to loosen everyone up.
The couple tied the knot on the beautiful sands of Bradenton beach & partied the night away at the Gulf Drive Cafe!
...& The best part about getting married by the water is the opportunity for some classic beach & sunset shots!
We had local model Angela Kienzle in the studio recently to update her portfolio & have some fun! We went for three different looks- a sexier look, a black & white look, & a sportswear look. Here is what we captured.
These days originality is key. This is no exception when it comes to getting great unique wedding portraits. With all the hustle & bustle on your wedding day the short hour (or less) you have before the reception at your wedding venue (or nearby) is basically your only option for some intimate portraits in your wedding attire. Sure tradition is to not see eachother in your wedding attire until the big day, but in this day & age tradition is not nearly as high a priority as it once was.
Newlyweds, Ian & Britta came to us for just that; some truly non-traditional wedding portraits. With this being each of their second weddings, a 6 year old in tow, & a baby on the way they were the perfect candidates for some studio wedding portraits.
Ian & Britta were open to any ideas we had so our first suggestion was to get them in the evening before their wedding & really take our time with the portraits; capturing their emotions & personalities. While our original idea was to take them around the city to a few different locations, traffic and life happen (especially the evening before your wedding) & by the time our session actually began we were quickly losing the light outdoors. We opted to do some studio portraits with a "Vanity Fair" style feel to them.
The portraits captured not only the love these two have for eachother but also the fun personalities & the unique dynamic of this beautiful blended family.
Looking for some special wedding portraits of your own?
This high school senior reached out to us after scouring the internet for her favorite southwest Florida photographer to do her Senior portraits while she was here staying at her family beach house in Casey Key for spring break! We were flattered to learn that Anna chose to do these special photos for her graduation announcements with us! We met her at her beautiful oceanfront vacation home & got right to work using her gorgeous backyard & surroundings as our shoot location for the evening.
It was a pleasure working with you Anna & we wish you the best of luck on all your future endeavors! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

When you're about to tie the knot and your thinking of a gift for your groom what is a better idea for your vintage loving sweetheart than a sexy yet playful pinup session?! That's what our client Megan did! She came to us all the way from Illinois to have us bring her back in time as an adorable pinup girl for her soon to be hubby!
We started with a playful cheesecake style look that reflected her love for gardening. Megan brought in her super pretty flower arrangement from her bridal shower to help us tie the look together.
Next we switched up her attire & did some classic portraits to show off her bling & bring in the romance.
Finally, she stripped down to something a little more sexy & we captured some beautiful classic Vargas style pinup shots for the Mr. to drool over!
